ARE E-SCOOTERS LEGAL?
ALMOST - The government is due to update UK laws to include privately purchased e-scooter use this year! However for now it is illegal to use a private e-scooter on the roads, footpaths and cycle lanes in the UK at this time. The only place that you can use them is on private land with the permission of the land owner. However, with many trials going on in the UK, and their expanding popularity we expect this to change very soon!
WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?
We accept PayPal and most major credit or debits cards. All details are handled securely and appropriately so you can shop with us in confidence. We have also recently partnered with LayBuy so you can spread your payments interest free. More payment options to come, so watch this space.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We understand that returns are sometimes unavoidable, and we do all we can to make this possible. In most cases we offer 14 day returns if item is UNUSED. If item has been used or damaged (unless recorded with courier) then no returns or refunds will be processed unless associated with a warranty claim. Please contact me if unsure - we aim to please so let us help where ever possible.
DO I NEED SAFETY EQUIPMENT?
Although there is currently a lack of policy around the use of e-scooters in the UK we would highly recommend the use of safety equipment when riding. Safety helmets are probably an absolute minimum when using these products - SAFETY FIRST.
DO YOU OFFER WARRANTY?
At Bohus we stand behind our products, so we offer a 1 year warranty on all e-scooters purchased trough our online store. The product will need shipping to us and we do the rest - checkout our warranty terms for details.
